Yesterday I went and had a cine flow MRI and had an appointment with my neurosurgeon. My shunt was set to 1.5 and he reset it to 2.0. Because this is higher, I could have some high pressure headaches so I might end up having to take diamox to off set what the shunt isn't doing. At 1.5 I was having a worse chiari symptoms (head pain when coughing, legs going numb, blurry vision, double vision, balance really bad, etc). I won't know how this new setting is for a week or two as it takes time for csf to build up. My pain management doctor mentioned being open to getting help/suggestions from my neurosurgeon on how to treat me so I'm praying they can come up with a better plan on managing my pain because the meds I'm on now aren't helping at all. wedding wears in cream or beige
