Well the Harden Horse trials event is over for another year and my life might get back to normal soon!! It's a huge challenge and responsibility to get a course ready for an event, even our little one and I would love to thank all involved especially Glen Howe for putting so many hours into our many renovations on the course. Also to Courtney and Ashley Jones and his bobcat for building that fantastic new water fence which has given us so many more options for the future. Jamie Parker and gold evening dresses Emily Bowker for all your help over the weekend and dressing up the old water and many fences on the course.

To our committee comprising of Mum and Dad Blundell (office, flagging, course building), Margaret Pestell (secretary) Fabio Giacomin (President) for always doing the thankless chore of scoring the event and Judith Stewart our Treasurer putting so many weekends in on the course and organising the many things that people don't realise you have to do to run an event. Chantal Cartwright and Jeff Cartwright what would we do without you guys being here there and everywhere helping where needed!! Also Rodney Cooper , Sue Leitner , Kristy and Luke Brown, Leanne Davis the pony club and many many more volunteers who gave up many hours helping us out in any way shape or form. It takes a huge team effort and all the riders competing are indebted to your services!!!

Stasi Grovenor for judging and being our XC course controller, Maryanne Robinson our vet, and we loved having Neil and Geordie Kennedy helping us and being our TD for the event!! We also have lots of sponsors etc to thank on our Harden Horse Trials Facebook page with pics coming soon.

For my riding part of the weekend I was so happy with all my horses with Rachel Stephen-Smith 's Summer Rhythm doing his best all round performance for a 2nd in the 1 star. Jacinta Kinsella 's George Oreilly super cute for a 2nd in the EVA95 and thank you for both owners coming to watch their ponies as always. Always great to have your support!!

My own Tarburra Gold Nugget- was very green in the 80 as was only broken in earlier the year, but he was such a little dude as is all my Pallys to jump around with no jumping faults other than being slow at that height when the 60 class was full!!

Was also special seeing so many of my previously ridden and sold horses all going well with new owners especially 4yo Tarburra Whisperer winning the EVA60jnr with Joley Hessenberger , BHM Black Galaxy Emma Creet , Kung Fu Master Hayley Howe and She's a Dark Horse Wendy Skill all young horses and going super well!! AND I can't forget the very special Girl with a Girl ridden by Tori Doak for beating me in the 1 star :-) well done girls!!
