TEKA BOLA PANSHI
Chapter Eleven
*****************
Lauren called me on Saturday in the morning and said that she wanted me to go over for lunch.
Later on that morning I went to the gym. I hardly had enough time to exercise so when I had the opportunity I made sure I utilized it.
I went back home and found Temwani waiting for me in her BMW.

"Good morning love?"
"Chiti there's nothing good about this morning." She responded as she frowned.
"Whats wrong? Did I forget anything?"
"No you didn't but are you aware my friend is getting married today. You have to come with me. The reception starts at fourteen hours. I need money for a dress and a makeup artist." She demanded.
"I can't make it today love am having lunch with my family. I told you Lauren is in the country. Will you please come with me?"
"So you would rather spend time with your sister than with me. You seriously think I would miss my friends wedding to spend time with your family?" She said sarcastically.
"Are you here to ruin my morning Temwani?"
"Fine if you don't wanna come at least give me money."
"Temwani didn't you just get paid recently. I thought I told you I bought us a house and I bought you a car recently."
"That unfinished house? Tell me if your going to give me money or not so that I don't waste any of my time here." She said as she rolled her eyes.
"Well you know am broke right now love. If I had you know I would have."
Before I could even finish my sentence she furiously drove off.

Temwani's POV

When I met Chiti five years ago he was honestly what every girl would dream of. He was intelligent, good looking was an understatement. He was light in complexion, had an athletic body and when he smiled he had the most adorable dimples. Bonus was that he came from money. I never wanted to date him I was happy with my boyfriend.
Unfortunately he damped me and I wanted to get back at him. That's how I ended up with Chiti. The man was romantic and I fell in love with his money. When ever I needed something he was there to provide. My job didn't pay as much. What I liked was that even though Chiti was career oriented he also had businesses. By marrying him it ment financial freedom. I honestly wasn't ready to give that up. If I couldn't have Chiti then I was going to find a man with more to offer. Am Temwani after all I get what I want. fall wedding dresses

I drove to the mall furiously I walked to the nearest ATM to withdraw some money.
As I walked to the salon someone tapped me on my shoulder. I turned only to see my ex boyfriend Muyunda. He looked even more handsome than I remembered. He was tall ,had a dark chocolate complexion , masculine and his smile was to die for. He was dressed casually he wore blue jeens, a T-shirt that showed of his six pack and the lasted Nike shoes.. My heart danced with excitement when I saw him.
He gave me a hug and I melted in his arms. His scent oh he smelt so good I didn't want to let go of him.

"Temwani!" He exclaimed as her held me.
"What a pleasant surprise to see you here. You look even more beautiful.
"You're looking good too. What are you doing here I thought you were transferred to south Africa?"
"Well I was but I was transferred back to Zambia last month. When I heard Merriam was getting married I had to come because I knew I would find you there."
"Well you guessed right."
"So what brings you here?" He asked.
"I came to buy a dress."
"Let me sponsor you then."
"Well I never pass an opportunity to get spoilt."

Muyunda spent like crazy on me he took me to the most expensive shops and who was I to refuse. This is the life I wanted. My phone rung twice I checked the caller ID and it was Chiti. I decided to ignore.
After I was done Muyunda and I walked to the carpark.
He was driving the latest Jeep it was white in colour. We walked back to my car and put the items we got inside. He was the perfect gentle man, he carried everything .

"Do you have a date for the wedding?" He asked.
"No I don't." I responded.
"So your not with Chiti anymore?"
"Muyunda let's just go together and have fun. Pick me up at fourteen hours."
"Alright I will call you for directions." He said as he smiled.

I drove back home feeling very excited. Today was going to be interesting after all.
"To hell with Chiti I found something better. Oh Lord you do answer prayers." I said as I walked into my apartment.
I took a bath and got ready.
I settled for a long blue dress and black heels. The dress did justice to my figure. My massai was on point and so was my makeup.
Muyunda arrived at fourteen. He looked handsome in his black suit.
We made a beautiful couple. Just like the old times.
